Swedish for medical staff is a digital course that will get you to level C1 proficiency, which corresponds to speaking fluent Swedish. If your education took place outside of the EU/EEA, you need to prove your language skills before applying for a medical license. After finishing the course you will have the linguistic proficiency to apply for a medical license or study at a Swedish university.

Who can apply?

• Degree equivalent to Swedish medical education.
• Doctors, Nurses, Dentists, Radiologists, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, Opticians, Midwives.

Course Content:

• Swedish for immigrants (sfi), course SVA 1-3
• Introduction to the Swedish healthcare system

Course Period:

• Maximum 9 months depending on Sfi level at the start.
• About 10 hours/week (flexible).
